The Titans Baseball Club is dedicated to fostering the growth of youth baseball in the York Region and Simcoe Region, helping players enhance their skills and achieve their dreams. Whether you aspire to play professionally, compete in NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, or stay in Canada to excel in OUA or OCAA, we are here to support your journey. Here’s how we do it:
- Elite Coaching from Experienced Professionals:
Our coaches are not parent volunteers; they are paid professionals with extensive experience at high levels of baseball (College, Pro, IBL). Each coach brings a wealth of knowledge and is committed to the development of our players, ensuring top-tier training. Monthly evaluations guarantee that the focus remains on the players' growth and improvement. - Comprehensive Strength and Conditioning:
Every player receives multiple hours of training each week with an in-house strength and conditioning coach. Our coach has extensive experience in strength and conditioning, as it relates to baseball skills and movement. As a former IBL Rookie of the Year, our coach knows how to maximize strength gains while ensuring optimum baseball performance. - Advanced Indoor Baseball Training:
From January to April, Titans train for three hours a day, three times a week, focusing on hitting, fielding, pitching, and catching. Our sessions are held at the True North Fieldhouse, a 12,000 square foot facility designed to maximize baseball skills in a clean and spacious environment. - College Recruitment and Academic Excellence:
We provide one-on-one coaching to help players promote themselves to college and national coaches, turning dreams into reality. Our commitment extends beyond the field as we emphasize the importance of academics. Titans players are required to maintain high-academics and meet with our Education Compliance Officer as needed. We strive to develop well-rounded STUDENT-Athletes. - Competitive Fall Season:
Our Fall schedule includes five to seven weeks of exhibition games against local OUA and OCAA teams, as well as NJCAA teams from the USA. Additionally, we practice outdoors once a week and we may play fall games against local travel teams, giving players extra exposure and competitive experience. - Intensive Spring Season:
From May to the end of June, the Titans will play up to 36 games across the province, including occasional weekday games and local tournaments. We maintain a rigorous practice schedule, with at least one outdoor and one indoor practice per week to ensure continuous improvement of skills developed during the off-season. - Exciting Tournament Season:
Starting July 1st, the Titans travel south to compete in three to four high-profile tournaments across the USA, in states such as Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee. These tournaments are designed to promote our players and provide valuable experience at the next level. (Travel costs are at the player’s expense.) - Community Engagement and Personal Growth:
While our primary focus is on developing better baseball players, we also challenge our athletes to get involved in the community. This engagement helps them grow as individuals and understand the importance of giving back.
