Abbyview Group Inc. Acquires Titans Baseball Club to Expand Youth Baseball Development Programming

Newmarket, Ontario – May 27, 2024 – Abbyview Group Inc. and Titans Baseball Club are pleased to announce that they have entered into an agreement whereby Abbyview Group Inc. will acquire Titans Baseball Club. This strategic acquisition is aimed at enhancing youth baseball development in the York Region and Simcoe Region areas, providing more opportunities for young athletes to achieve their baseball dreams.

Effective July 31, 2024, Darryl Reid, Vice President of Baseball Operations at Abbyview Group Inc., will also assume responsibility for baseball operations at Titans Baseball Club, in addition to his existing baseball responsibilities. This leadership change is designed to ensure a seamless integration of both organizations' goals and resources, enhancing the overall development programs offered to young athletes.

Titans Baseball Club has a proud tradition of fostering youth baseball talent, fielding elite teams at the 13u-18u age levels and competing in the Canadian Premier Baseball League (CPBL). The CPBL, founded in 2015, is a top-tier organization within Canada’s baseball sphere, hosting top amateur players and programs from Ontario. The league offers players a rich competitive environment, cutting-edge resources, and access to showcase events, and has produced numerous MLB draft picks, Canadian Junior National Team players, and student-athletes who have continued their careers at post-secondary institutions. 

The acquisition will allow Titans Baseball Club to expand its current programs and further enhance initiatives like the Junior Titans and the "Train Like a Titan" program. These initiatives are designed to provide comprehensive training and development opportunities for younger athletes and community teams, helping them develop the skills needed to excel in baseball.
