Titans Back in True North Fieldhouse: Red Zone Protocols in Place

by Lawrence Vera

Good news from the Pandemic front!  The Titans’ Position-Specific Training resumes on Monday, February 22 at the True North Fieldhouse.  Players and parents are reminded to review Director of Baseball Operations Lawrence Vera’s February 19th email that delineated the new practice schedule as well as our systemic limitations.  As per government protocols, we are limited to eight players and two coaches in the facility per indoor session.

Coach Vera also reminded all coaches, parents, and players of these precautions so we can transition safely to our facility:

  • All players must wait in their cars until a coach comes to the door to let them in; please do not mingle on the sidewalk in front of the facility;

  • Always monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and stay home when not feeling well; If you are required to stay home from school because of a close contact, you are not to come to practice;

  • We are closing down the Titans Clubhouse during practice time to avoid close contacts;

  • Coaches will be responsible for getting the equipment to limit contact points;

  • Face covering must be worn at all times;

  • Wash your hands at the stations.

The Titans Coaching Staff  had their Zoom meeting on Sunday, February 21 to review Red Zone protocols to re-start our indoor training and preview our CPBL objectives.

Stay safe, Titans.  Work hard at True North and let’s get ready for the CPBL season.  It is ten weeks away.
