Titans' Jacob Bradshaw Commits to Douglas College

The Titans Baseball Club is proud to announce that Jacob Bradshaw has committed to continue his academic and baseball career at Douglas College in New Westminster, British Columbia.

A native of Oshawa, Ontario, and a student at Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School, Bradshaw will join the Douglas Royals this fall while pursuing an Associate of Arts degree.

For Bradshaw, the decision came down to finding the right combination of academics, baseball, and personal fit.

"The location and school made it a good fit for me," said Bradshaw. "I have family in British Columbia, and whenever I've visited, I've enjoyed it. I also preferred to stay in Canada to play college baseball."

Located in New Westminster, British Columbia, Douglas College will provide Bradshaw with an opportunity to experience a new part of the country while continuing his development both on and off the field.

"I'm looking forward to fully experiencing an unfamiliar part of the country," he said. "Living there will definitely be different than just visiting, so I'm excited to experience something new."

As he prepares for the next chapter of his baseball journey, Bradshaw has set clear goals for himself as a student-athlete.

"My goals are to help the team win this upcoming year and to maintain a high GPA," he said.

Throughout the recruiting process, Bradshaw leaned on the support system available through the Titans Baseball Club, particularly Titans College Placement Coordinator Owen Stevenson.

"Owen Stevenson was very helpful during the recruiting process," Bradshaw explained. "Being able to text and call someone who has gone through the process was a great resource to have."

Like many Titans athletes, some of Bradshaw's favorite memories came away from home while competing with his teammates.

"I would say Florida Spring Training has been the highlight of my Titans experience," he said. "I've always wanted to go to Florida, and I enjoyed my time there with my teammates."

As he reflects on his journey to college baseball, Bradshaw hopes younger players in the program understand that success comes through consistency and persistence.

"Get better every day," he said. "Post on social media, especially FieldLevel. The recruiting process can be frustrating, so stay persistent with the schools you want to go to. Be a good teammate and be selfless."

Jacob's commitment reflects the dedication he has shown throughout his time with the Titans and serves as another example of what can be accomplished through hard work, consistency, and a commitment to long-term development.

The Titans Baseball Club congratulates Jacob and his family on this accomplishment and looks forward to following his success with the Douglas Royals.
